ABOUT US

Petaluma School of Ballet welcomes you to our Spring 2009 session.   We have an exciting year planned for this year’s dance programs and are proud to be Sonoma County’s oldest dance studio, offering quality dance training since 1959!

We offer ballet, jazz, hip hop, ballroom and Zumba, our latin dance fitness classes for you or your child to explore the exciting world of dance and fitness.

Performing opportunities for both our ballet and jazz students include our full-length Nutcracker, our dance companies: Petaluma City Ballet (PCB) & Petaluma City Jazz (PCJ).

OUR PHILOSOPHY

WE, as a faculty, believe in each individual that passes through our doors.  That each individual, with proper technique, can be a beautiful dancer no matter what their body type. 

Our studio provides the same level of quality training to every student whether they will pursue ballet professionally or not.

WE believe dancers should perform.  It gives our students confidence and self-esteem and the ability to compete or to make it in a professional career of any kind.

WE also believe in hard work and lots of it, children want to work hard and have limits set for them as well as challenges. Dance is what we love and what we do very, very well.
