Welcome!

Petaluma School of Ballet welcomes you to our Spring 2012 session. We have an exciting season planned for our dance programs and are proud to be Sonoma County’s oldest dance studio, offering quality dance training and education since 1959! Dance is what we love and what we teach very, very well!

We offer ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, Kidz Jazz and hip hop. We are also home to Zumba (our latin dance fitness classes), Sue White Tap and Capoeira, providing a dance and fitness center for all your family's needs.

Performing opportunities include our full-length Nutcracker, our ballet company, Petaluma City Ballet (PCB) and our end-of-year Student Showcase.

Ann Derby, Zoura O'Neill, Marilyn Jasoni, Jennifer Jaffe, Kathryn Derby, Megan Jones, Christa Christianson and Danielle Maca.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

We believe:

That each child, with proper technique, can be a beautiful dancer no matter what their body type. Our studio provides the same level of quality training to every student whether they will pursue dance professionally or not.

That dancers should perform. It gives our students confidence and self-esteem and the ability to compete or to excel in a professional career of any kind.

That children like hard work and lots of it; they want to work hard and have limits set for them as well as challenges.

That our dancers should have fun and lots of it!
